yeah, there are bums in every thread, but the real ones can see the talent ... not saying he's the second coming, but he's another good piece for our future ... will make a nice combo with fletcher next season

First game as a true freshman who arrived after spring. I would give him some time man lmao

Again what I want to see from rbs aside from pass pro is vision. I feel like I haven’t seen a back at a Miami in a minute without elite vision. I feel like Martinez has that watching this game even though he didn’t pop off on the box score.

I thought he looked decisive, ran hard albeit no big chunks, and blocked well.

Really hard to judge based on a few carries in his first game as a FR. No he didn't flash like the first time I saw Frank Gore (his burst was hard not to notice). But he looked to have good balance and decisiveness. And you have to love that blocking.

Critiquing a player is fine, but saying he lacks the elite skills of past players after 1 game and 6 carries is ridiculous. Guess we can now say that Trader and Carr are busts because they didn't even see the field, right? Everyone is entitled to their opinion

I totally agree. I'm sorry that I thought that package of plays was mid. It's his first game. Willing to give him time to figure it out. The 3rd and 2 was bad. But is what it is. I agree I love the blocking. I thought Rooster had the juice also. Luckily Cam is so good what our 3rd string RB does probably won't make or break the season.

Unreal how you guys are glazing bro. If you thought that was amazing, alright.
