Chip Kelly is the OC at Northwestern and he’s Ryan Day mentor. Imagine said he had a better chance to compete for PT there, while having the opportunity at a great degree
Did Chip Kelly and Day get along? Just curious because I told myself the son choose Northwestern out of pure disdain for his father for looking like one of the dudes Chris Hanson barges in on holding a brown paper bag with condoms, *** toys and Just for Men Hair and Beard kit

Kid has legit size, physical, and he's a real fluid athlete. I'd love to see him in orange & green.

To the folks that think Ryan Day’s kid went to NW for a better degree, did you not know that football player curricula choices and regular undergrad curricula choices are not the same?

While there is an occasional exception to the rule, football players are given about four choices for a major - communications, glorified PE, liberal arts and general business. To quote Butch Davis, “you didn’t come here for an education; you came here to play football. If you wanted an education, you should’ve gone to Harvard.” That quote is 15+ years old, back when players had to actually go to class.

Is there a timetable here? Mario being the chess guy that he is, wonder if we see an announcement this upcoming weekend ?

That's incorrect. I went to Northwestern for undergraduate and I had football players in my fraternity, in my dorm, in my classes ( several come including a few who went pro, were economics Majors as well as I). Players lived the same lives as any other student. One that went second round in the draft used to be the hall monitor at night.
