A bunch of weight he’s like 6’2 220lb, I mean if his position is DE than yeah. Thought he was a LB.Wont be mad if a tweener leaves tbh. No clearly defined role. Needs to gain a bunch of weight. We've seen that movie before

Regardless we’ll need to get a lb out the portal . I see Wiley starting next year but who else ?They don't grow on trees…At least the ones that can run.
Start bringing in a bunch of 230 kids and then everyone on here complains we're slow. Macho and others have touched upon how he thinks former safeties make the best LB in today's game.
I'd keep Campbell. We need to keep some local kids imo.
Fine with Campbell leaving just need Pruitt to take gaining weight serious and he’s a pro regardless we are taking at least 1 out the portalThey don't grow on trees…At least the ones that can run.

Ya regardless we are gonna be in the portal for at least 1 LB, 2 if we lose more than 1 ourselves.Regardless we’ll need to get a lb out the portal . I see Wiley starting next year but who else ?
Pruitt gets moved watch , he would be at Scott’s position . What is he like 210 at best ?Ya regardless we are gonna be in the portal for at least 1 LB, 2 if we lose more than 1 ourselves.
The other starter will be Aguirre, Bonner, Pruitt or the portal addition imo.

Pruitt is probably moving to the DB room, didn’t he play nickel last game?
I mean if he hasn’t put the weight on still going into year 3 of a college S&C program where we’ve seen other guys develop it might not be happening other than some posters wishful thinkingThere's rumors he's a safety, rumors he's a LB, now nickle…Etc… I honestly think in long-run it's LB for him, but we'll see what happens. I wouldn't even rule out portal for him, can't see why he isn't on the field this season. It's hard to complain because we have a top 12 defense at worst, but man Toure is a nightmare in coverage at times.
he warms up with the DB's pre game, assumed he already movedHopefully lol
I doubt that posted weight is accurate. In pics Ive seen he doesnt look that big.A bunch of weight he’s like 6’2 220lb, I mean if his position is DE than yeah. Thought he was a LB.
More like 200 ?I doubt that posted weight is accurate. In pics Ive seen he doesnt look that big.
Thats my guess tbh. Has a good frame, can definitely get to 220-230 range but usually linebackers we take like that dont seem to work out for us. The guys like Shaq & Pinckney were ready to go day 1. Need more of those types.More like 200 ?
Is a Jamal Carter comparison good for Pruitt?I mean if he hasn’t put the weight on still going into year 3 of a college S&C program where we’ve seen other guys develop it might not be happening other than some posters wishful thinking
He might be a “bigger” body SS
That good but the next LB that we have who can actually manage to not be a major liability in pass coverage will be the first in a very very long time. The way it was explained to me by a P4 LB coach...
They're not too concerned with what position they played in high school BECAUSE most LB's aren't going to start year 1 anyway. They need at least a year to develop mentally and physically for the college game. Obviously during that time period is when you'll be teaching him how to play LB (in your scheme).
There is SOME truth to that. The LB position on the college level is much more complex than high school. Most high school LB's are just taught "see ball, get ball" type of stuff, they're not taught how to cover, how to make checks and/or how to line-up in different fronts.
So... college coaches are starting from scratch with most LB recruits.![]()
