Jonathan garvin getting some hype

When Joe Jack was in his spot, I really thought he would be a first of second round guy but it turns out he was not athletic enough. Let’s say Garvin gets 10 sacks, how would he test athletically? Do we think he can be a first or second rounder?

Exactly...some of these same b!tches praising Garvin now, are the same b!tches that praised JJ and then turned around and $h!t on Him when He was falling in the draft. But hey, that's what b!tches do.

As long as he don’t test like a 5 percentile athlete at the position like joe Jackson did and have an increase in sack production he might be a lock for a top 2 round pick

I think his ceiling is probably early day 2 maybe squeeze into late 1st but he has a lot of work to do. Very much a one trick pony right now with the club rip. Really needs to add to his tool box as a rusher because he's not a burst/bend freaky type

Given Feeley has trained our defenders into stronger guys and better endurance, I believe we'll have a much better attacking defense. Garvin, Rousseau, Patchan and Hill is star caliber DE lineup. After seeing the transformation of Jordan Miller, I'm sure Nesta, Bethel, Ford and Nnoruka are all experiencing similar transformations. All the running they do will help immensely. The addition of Joyner and Huff to our veteran LB'er corp will strengthen that core to a higher level. Corner, Safety and Striker should be high performers especially Ivey, Blades, Frierson and Gurvan Hall. Man we ready!

Finally! We have depth all along the DL which will translate into even more TFL and Sacks that many theorized this year’s group would do given the losses we suffered in DJax and GWIII. With the influx of talent infused with Feeley’s S&C program these men are going to hunt all game long. At LB we have studs in Shaq and Pinckney who are going to roll it this year. Then in the back we have Bandy, Ivey, Blades Jr starting along with most likely Hall and Bolden at the safety spots. With all this athleticism, talent, and warrior builds we will be sporting this season why can’t we be a Top 5 defense?

All Garvin needs to do is continue excelling on the field as he’s done the past 2 years & he’s gone in the top half of the draft. Kid is a monster. Hardly any weaknesses.

I think his motor is the best part about him. His backside pursuit is relentless.

Check out this play @3:18 against Pitt. Instead of moving down backside behind the LOS, he steps across the OL and sits right into the whole that the RB chooses. That’s underrated football IQ right there

@brock where do I find this stat sheet that shows what % a player is?

curious to see what tests they use

Yessir! Kid is mean, nasty, great motor & is a technician. I hope these pathetic nfl scouts see what we see bc he’s been whipping drafted OL since his freshmen year.

They added him to the Top 300 and gave him that 4th star really late, way after he verbally committed to us.

The star chasers would tell you we shouldn't have offered him or we'd become "3 star U" You have to wait for recruiting services to give a player a 4th star before offering. Don't bother with having coaches actually evaluate players. Just trust website guys to tell you who's good. It worked great for Coker.
