Just like Kool said post practice the other day, he doesn't care about stars. He coaches football for a living, and knows what he's looking for in a player. Recruiting sites are mainly journalists making the majority of the rankings.

I'll trust Kool, or any other coach with a good pedigree before recruiting sites. Want a good assessment of a player? Look at their offer list.
 
Kid has mittens for hands and he's not even fully developed yet. For the life of me, I really don't understand how some kids are 3 stars and others are 4-5 stars, unanimously. This kid screamed 5 star when I saw his hudl tape. 93 tackles, 36 TFL, 6 FF, 9 sacks, 1int from a 6'4 225lb Jr DE. Come on man! How's that not at least 4 stars?? Yet he's ranked as the 28th best DE and 628th best player overall??? Great find Coach Kool.

This is for all of the porsters that cried about preferring Jordan Wright or Jarez Parks. I said it then and I'll say it again, this kid has incredible upside. He has the perfect frame to be an elite DE, and not just at the next level, but also someday in the NFL. He has wide shoulders to go along with a huge wingspan, mittens for hands and is very athletic. When Kool takes him under his wing, it'll be a wrap for opposing QB's and RB's (I'm looking at you D.Cook and MaGuire).

Speak that truth, homie. That's what I always look for, as well. The 3 star kids we're offering, Bama, Clemson, Ole Miss, Tennessee...they're offering as well. It's not like the "Golden" years when we were snatching 3 star players from Rutgers, Temple, Louisiana-Monroe or Colorado.

Did anyone mention that the guy he sacked 7 times is an FSU QB COMMIT JAMES BLACKMAN?

Blackman going to get more of this in the future lol

Always look at the offer list and look whos putting the full court press on.
