Johnnie Dixon and Braxton Berrios
Good question on Dixon; at one point, we felt Dixon was a strong Miami lean. However, it appears he is still open to his out-of-state options. He took officials to Arkansas and N.C. State and is taking his third trip to Ohio State this weekend. Look out for the Buckeyes. Dixon has elite speed, and that is something head coach Urban Meyer covets. Alabama will get an official in November, and Dixon is a priority recruit for the Tide. The 'Canes are still in the picture, and location along with playing time will help the home team. Dixon said UM is recruiting him hard at the moment, but again Alabama and Ohio State are legit threats for him.

Berrios had a great visit to Coral Gables and he will make his announcement Oct. 12 from among Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee and UM. I feel the 'Canes have a great chance with him, and at the end of the day, Miami can end up with both. The Hurricanes have room at receiver, and that is a position of need to fill out their class. Berrios is an ideal slot receiver who can eat up the soft spots of zone coverage or get open on choice and option routes in one-on-one situations
