yea i would say more times than not if a kid pulls the 'i don't need to visit' card its cause for concern. for one you always want the kids on campus visiting. secondly, if they've been on campus so many times that they know you so well and don't need to visit, then if they were going to commit to your school they would have, i mean they've seen everything. what are they waiting for?

i've seen about 6 recruits over the years say that about uf, and every one of them ended up going elsewhere.

Really the Matthew Thomas card? I dare you to find 5 posters on here who actually thinks we ever had a chance at him. Also, his mom didnt want him at UM because of "influences" or whatever that's why she wanted him at FSU so badly at the end

He keeps saying he won't take an OV to Miami, but he has narrowed down his list to 3. As everyone knows, he's allowed to take 5 official visits. I think out staff will be able to convince him to take an OV.

Just like kids who committed now who arent taking other ovs I don't think he needs to. The ov is to wine and dine recruits but some don't really need that and the difference between OSU and Bama is he's been to both of their campuses once. He'll be at multiple UM games or so he says so the ov wont matter

matthew Thomas was rumored to be going elsewhere. Dixon has been rumored to have UM at the top. we've had many kids commit w/ out an OV. almost if not all our commits have committed w/ out an OV, haven't they? and some may never take an OV here.

What does OV mean? That the school pays for transportation? Why in the world does it matter for a Miami kid to get reimbursed for the $2 metro fare?

So would I but what really does the ov do for us that he doesnt know or hasnt seen already? I think the OV he's taking is more for the big games for Bama and OSU while he says he'll be at multiple UM games. Other then that the only thing they'll do is "wine and dine" him but other then paying him $$$$$ he really gains nothing more from those other schools then what UM has shown him already

Lol are you serious?.... the ENTIRE recruiting board had Matthew Thomas a CANE LOCK. I was banned from this board b/c i said I didnt think Matthew Thomas was coming to UM.

Also his mom and his brothers all wanted him at UM but since he made it clear that he didnt want to go, his mom just said could you at least go to FSU so you can stay in state. He wanted to go to USCw.

hurricano, he's in palm beach county. it's not a metro fare. it's being put up in a nice hotel and eating at nice places. the hanging out w/ the players he's already done.

Have you been away from the board since January? You know when Ice Harris said we had no chance after the Kirkland situation. Or before that when people were rumoring that we had no chance? Or when he went to the USF game and was rumored to not even seem like he cared about the game? So what people on here "thought" we had a chance nobody had inside info. I bet next you'll say Keef was interested in UM when we were always in his top 5 and took an OV

Exactly, a 1 day ov during the week means he's not interested he just did it to shut somebody up
