John Ruiz

Where you at?

No excuse for this.

Brother, he's honestly the only one that can save Cristobals career right now. Everyone wants to make the Kirby Smart comparisons but the fact is that Kirby got a top 3 class after his first year. If Ruiz is really Cristobals friend, he needs to go talk to every 5 star recruit and give them massive NIL deals. If not, then Ruiz is largely responsible for saddling UM with a guy who is a far worse game day coach than Manny Diaz but a little better of a recruiter. Landing classes ranked 8-12 year after year ain't going to cut it with his lack of coaching ability.

IMO would have been the best hires at the time for an immediate turn around.

Mario was the long term hire, it’s just going to be a very very very steep climb doing it his way.
You said this during the hiring process and I agreed. The only difference now for me that’s changed is I’m not so sure Mario will eventually get there. Not with this offensive mentality.

He has Orgeron hanging around the program. Ask him what happened when he found and brought Brady in and then when he lost him. Stop being stubborn and find your Brady.

He either wasn’t taught properly how to carry the ball or they allow it…

Sounds like a coaching issue.
This is not a one year thing. Sounds to me like we are scapegoating mentally weak players. Incredible how transfers are a completelt different story in terms of production compared to the players from previous regimes

Yep. test players and toughs are the transfers Mario brought in Young ( offense) and Mesidor (defense)
