Miami fans are riding high right now, and honestly, how could you not be? Beating both Carolina teams back-to-back will get anyone buzzing. The Hurricanes are hot, the season is rolling, and people outside of Coral Gables are finally paying attention.

One of those people is national college hoops guy John Fanta, and he basically said what Miami fans have been yelling for weeks.

Fanta said first-year head coach Jai Lucas is already on his radar when it comes to Coach of the Year talk later...

Really good to hear national media giving props to Coach Lucas. Funny thing is my daughter was a year behind John Fanta at Seton Hall. He actually interviewed her once or twice and it's really cool to see how far he's come.
 
Go on any game thread and you see people ****ting on Jai. When he was hired ppl ****ting on him. People wanting him fired after Cal.

A lot of non-basketball knowers in this fan base so idk if your thread title is accurate.
