Joel Klatt discussing the situation. Says Miami players will have trust issues with Mario now.

I honestly think they were trying to get chaney 100 yards after all hes been through.
end of the day, it was a blunder but win out and win alot more and people will say it was a bad fumble call
alot of non-miami reporters and analysts have said it wasnt a fumble.
Can someone explain to me what getting 100 against a bad GT team does for anyone?

thats what i said they know what he been through. If they dont trust him more after what he did for him. And kids still giving verbals to someone they cant trust at all. Guy needs to stfu

I say this as a guy who has been VERY pro-Mario(and still am), but if that's true, that is horrendous. In the immortal words of Herm Edwards(which is kinda ironic given what happened)...

YOOOOOOUUUUU..

PPPPPLLLLAAAAAAAYYYYYYY...

TOOOOOO.....

WINNNNNNN.......

THEEEEEEEE.....

GAAAAMMMMEE!!

HEEEELLLLLLOOOO!!!!
we wanted him to hire an OC who is modern and stay out of his way, I think he didnt realize sometimes just step in.

i dont think it was for chaney. i think dawson was giddy that the offense was finally able to run the ball down their throats and went braindead, and for reasons unknown to all, mario didn't step in and make him take a knee

a head coach can stay out of the way, and still make executive decisions. That's what he's paid for. But, now it's time to turn the page and move on. I truly hope this makes Mario a better coach, because that was horrible on Saturday night. He turned himself and the program into a laughingstock

Mario better get the last laugh..

Made that same point about TVD earlier today.

Not attempting to shine up this **** that was coaching blunderism at its finest but football is not 2D--there are layers. Quarterbacks are a part of that layer; they aren't "yes" men, they are managers of the game and TVD has to be smart enough and not agreeable enough to know that his coach was full of fuggin' **** to call that. Like I said earlier, if I just quarterbacked 4 tough quarters and busted my *** to get my team to a win, then @0:40 I see the sideline come at me with some bull**** play instead of victory, I'm mockingly looking down at my quarterback wrist playbook then looking at the sideline and giving them two middle finger **** you's before kneeing the game out. Anyone who would have had a problem with my decision, from Radakovich down to the ball *****, is more than welcome to have words with me in the blue lot. I'll deal with whoever got a problem with it in the locker room. I ain't about to be apart of a lowlight reel because some coach doesn't know when to quit. **** that. That is the leadership at QB we need. Not just a guy that can sling it but to see the game from altitude and make the call even if it means you are going against authority on the sideline.

Klatt is still mad that Beason lit him up. F that guy.

If Mario is upfront and accountable to the team, they will get over it. These young people understand that mistakes happen, no one is perfect. That said, these kids have bought into Mario. You saw how hard they took the loss, which is a drastic change from previous tenures. Let's see how they respond on Saturday. If they come out play well and win, then it is what it is.

Dude, I respect you but you’ve posted this multiple times and it’s false.

Don Chaney had 102 yards rushing before the last fumble play, so I’m not sure what else they were trying to prove other than you play TUFF AND PHYZICAL TIL THE LAST WHISTLE BRO!

And Joe Klatt is absolutely right, whether y’all want to believe it or not. Why the flying f^ck would you trust a bozo head coach that won’t accept when a game is over?
