I miss the guy who used to do the announcements at the OB, that guy ruled!!!! No clue what his name is but he was awesome.

Tackle made by VILLLma. If I had a recording of some of his announcements over the years that would be a great walk down memory lane. Then I would drink Prestone knowing what we deal with now.

Old boring announcers, ORs on the depth chart, no access to practice, slow motion practice clips always short of 1 min, short interviews, players sounding like robots seemingly told to give canned answers, SMD and co. with their low football IQ questioning, blurry zoom UM backgrounds cause we constantly have to shove the U and UM health and sports medicine advertising down peoples throats, Manny's weekly talk show with Zit and DBJ, consistant microphone issues DBJ looks like his falling asleep in every interview.

All things media the University of Miami partners with and produces adds to the embarrassment of being a 'Cane's fan nowadays.

Construction equipment louder than the media questions & coach/player responses… the wind in the microphone. It’s embarrassing AF. There are high schoolers with more training than what Miami puts out there.

You don't think Gene Deckerhoff or Mick Hubert are homers? Go listen to an SEC game and the voice of whatever program. Newsflash, these folks are employees of the University.

When we were getting drilled against Notre Dame or Alabama in the 70s, I can tell you for a fact Sonny would be viewed as a "homer" by today's standards.

I would prefer to listen to DBC and the Bear 🐻 call the game than DBJ and Zagacki. As I’ve said before, I rather ride shotgun on a Cessna Zagacki is piloting than listen to him call the game.

I loved the old PA announcer at the Orange Bowl. THE MIAMI QUARTERBACK IS NUMBER THIRTEEN GINO…..TORRETTA.

I think the Panthers hired him away.

Think that was Jay Rokeach. Still the baseball announcer and the best PA announcer I've ever heard at any venue/sport.

DBC is the next voice of Canes Football? Congrats to him. Someone should really reach out to him and give him our congratulations on Twitter and other social media platforms.
