My only thought of why Walton is getting more carries is because he is the better athlete. If he gets in the clear he has a better chance of bringing to the house.

Yearby should be starting.

Gus should be his backup.


Walton should be mop up duty late in the 4th with a big lead

Everyone forgets Gus was going to be starting over yearby last year

This. Gus also started over Yearby in 2014.

To me, people hating on Gus has less to do with his pad level and more that he's not a 4 star RB from FL.

But Gus should be our starter.

They should be bringing Homer along right now. He should get 5 carries a game. He easily has the most upside and you know next year what you are going to get from Walton and Yearby. Homer has elite potential, and with the shirt already burned, you would be better served putting him in the fire now, even if just for a few plays a game. Dalvin's true Freshman year he fumbled and made a lot of mistakes but helped him in the long run to get that experience.
