Joe Jackson declares for draft

You do realize that our system allows guys to get more sacks? I mean based on your analysis whoever is slanging for Leach each year should be the top QB off the board.
Our system allows guys to get more sacks? No wonder Temple wanted Diaz, he's a magician.

Not sure how candid you want to be here...but, a few questions.

In your reports, how much did our players poor athletic testing (Joe Jackson, Gerald Willis, Jaquan Johnson) effect their stock in your eyes?

As a follow up...I posed this question during the draft. Shaq Quarterman and Mike Pinckney...would they have been drafted before Quincy Williams, LB, Murray State (late 3rd round draft choice - brother of Quinnen Williams, but general unknown in draft circles) if they would have declared? Basically, in your opinion, would either of them been a Day 1 or Day 2 pick? My hypothesis is that they would not have, but I'm curious of your opinion about our returning senior LBs.
Won't get into too much detail but yes athletic testing certainly hurt all 3, but Willis off field stuff is what did him in. I heard 3-5 for Shaq and 6th-undrafted on Pinckney

We have the best examples of first rd talent throughout Miami history. Usually competed for a national championship the year prior.
Not too many first rounders (generally leaders) come from a team going 7-6. Look at who dominated the draft. (Bama, Clemson, OSU,) those teams did or close to competing for a NC.

Had to Bump

First off, best of luck to Joe Jackson wherever he ends up; he is a 'Cane and deserves a long and lucrative career.

Now all of you "experts" that negged me into oblivion, including Mr. BS saying I don't know S#!+ about football and others in this thread trying to make me out as a fool...I don't expect a mea culpa (If you know what that means) but I do hope you find your name above and realize that you don't know everything about Football or a host of other topics. Respect others opinions and you will be better for it. Special shout out to Austin, who tried to talk you all off the ledge, but you didn't comprehend his subtle points on what was about to transpire.

Maybe UM players will learn after this year...
I'll take the L, I was definitely wrong. I honestly thought he'd test much better, I think his lack of explosiveness at the combine really hurt him because the production was there otherwise. Not sure what I said was bad enough to bump but I guess you did get negged into oblivion.

Bump of the year. He’s an idiot.
Why are you commenting and how am I an idiot? Most people thought JJ would go before the 5th round pre-combine. I admit I was wrong but it wasn't some ridiculous thought at the time. You're such a salty little c.unt. I honestly think it's funny how worked up you get at literally everyone on this board for anything. Get a life you ******* drunk.

Thanks, much respect to you.

Lol I meant Joe Jackson is an idiot for declaring early and me saying bump of the year is a compliment.

Declaring this year or next wouldn't have made a difference with Joe Jackson. He's not going to get more athletic.

he made the right decision in leaving regardless of where he got picked. make money over playing for free and possibly not having a career.

This is probably true. He might have trained better, I dont know. But he had three productive years. Not sure another year would really have made a difference.

Shaq and Pinckney are gonna have to test well and likely play well in a senior bowl in order to move their draft stock up. Anyone thinking these guys are 1-2 round material right now are delusional.

Im seeing both of them as post 5th round guys in next years draft
