Jobe changing up his OV schedule

I feel good about Jobe, normally I would think hes bama bound but I just feel we land him in the end. I have no reason why I think we get him even with all the bama BS I just think we did enough with helping him and planning his academics n **** like that when he was at UM with his fam. I think we did enough and the plan is in place

I admit I've neglected recruiting since the season started but man is this not gonna be an outrageous class with all these guys looking like they'll stick

If you look back at our last few classes it's crazy the players making an impact, bring in a class like this and we'll be set for years

by 2019 we will be loaded like a real UM squad with quality coaching, we taking over real soon.

If a COMMITTED kid doesn’t sign in December I have to question is he really coming and look for an alternative player.Not saying I drop the kid but it goes back to the” If your looking we’re looking” mantra.

We have 80%-90% of our class signing during the early signing period.If you are a COMMITTED player you should want to let everyone know your a Cane and also sign.If you don’t Then your not 100% Cane and the coaches need to look to fill your spot and not get screwed by your flipping at the 11th hour.

We are at the point after this season that kids will be lining up to play here.Just like they are at a Bama.I can guarantee if the roll was reversed and he told Saban he was headed to Miami that weekend he would either not go or lose his spot.Saban ain’t about these games and because of his record he can make those stipulations.We are getting to that point.

Kid has had forever to take his trips,get his **** licked and collect all his bounty from the visits.If he’s a Cane he needs to sign.If not Then we should look to fill his spot.jmo

Come tf on.... for a prospect he want Saban is going to fight for them period Idk what you are talking about there.... it comes with the terriority, we have an elite class committed a lot of schools want our guys but it comes at a point in time you have to trust our coaching staff and the feedback from pete and others that are close to these kids like coach duasso when talking about frierson and jobe........ some of you have been shook by sh*tty golden recruiting down the stretch but this is a new staff and we haven’t had this type of success in a season since our last championship appearance. Have faith in our guys ****.....

How much attention do you need before your attention seeking is considered an issue?

This dude’s been a hot commodity at the recruiting level for 3 years. He’s had his *** licked since he outran all the other kids in Optimist football.

How much more attention and adulation does he need? Is the extra two months of drama between December and February so important to him that he’d rather bask in it than be a UM guy and give the coaches a break and allow them to focus on the uncommitted guys they’re still pursuing?

There’s the imbecilic point of view. He’s got the right to do whatever he wants. I also have the right to inform you enabling weirdos that anyone who doesn’t sign in December isn’t committed.

Jobe can go wherever he wants and do whatever he wants. But if he doesn’t sign in December he’s playing games and is a low character guy. Maybe he’ll wind up being one of the rare low character guys who winds up succeeding despite being low character. We shall see.

I hope he signs in December like any committed recruit should and proves that he’s not an attention starved chick.

I agree with you in the sense that until he signs and cuts off his visits we can’t BANK on him being at the U, but I don’t judge kids for not coming to Miami or enjoying the process.

There was no early signing period then. So your examples are meaningless.

You can call my examples whatever you want. I call your defamation of a kid’s character at the age of 20 beyond stupid and quite frankly sad. Do kids that are committed elsewhere but come visit Miami have bad character issues?

The irony in this all is that Pete had their 7-on-7 coach on one of his recent podcasts. Whom mentioned a particular recruit (didn't name him, but we all know it was Jobe by description), and he was wondering why everyone was questioning his motives.

Chatfield and Campbell can do whatever they want this recruiting cycle. They're not committed. Both players have handled their recruitment as you should; take your OVs, then make a decision.

Simple Jobe is a ME guy. Look at the guys responsible for the teams success this year, all WE guys. Braxton (never quit working or quit on his team), Malik (sat the bench 3 years), Homer (never heard a peep out of him being a backup), Dallas (biggest cheerleader for us during recruiting, played what ever position coaches asked), Shaq (showed up to UF in all Miami gear lol), Lanham (sat patiently then makes the biggest catch of the season)

The list goes on and on. This staff is not just recruiting 4/5 star guys. They're looking for guys with the right attitude. Miami coaches have this advantage because over 80% of their recruits are less than 3 hours away via car. 60% prob within a hour. Our staff gets to know these guys better than other programs around the country.

Simple Jobe was already commited here so I'm sure they want to keep him commited. It's good for keeping local ties, but I'm sure the staff is not losing sleep over Jobe. At least not this season.

The person who tweeted that was gil. Hes basically saying hes not flipping...

I know who tweeted it, but why's he there all the time if he's not interested in playing there? I've learned in my illustrious career as one of the nation's top negotiators to pay almost no attention to words.

If he brought his mother, then he is considering it. That doesn't mean that he will go there, but he's considering it.

Exactly...as I said.They have not made any decision and can do as they want to make that decision.

Supposedly Nesta and all the others that have committed have made the decision to be Canes.100%.No reason why they wouldn’t sign UNLESS they aren’t 100% and still considering others.

As you said the early signing period is an anti-troll date.If your committed and don’t sign then the coaches can figure you are still looking and don’t be ****ed if someone takes your spot.Afterall the coaches need to protect the program as a whole and not the spot of a kid that may or MAY NOT be 100% committed to being a Cane.

He’s definitely closest with our staff and with the amount of turnover on the Bama staff, it’s tough to overcome the relationship advantage. Not to mention hometown team. Pete has always remained confident that he’d end up a Cane despite the drama. It’s nice to know that once we lock down this class, we’ll only need one more class to be deep at all positions. That’s definitely where we’re lacking this year, hence why most of us thought we were a year away.

Funny how we form opinions about kids during the recruiting process and we usually are right. Duke, Chic, Walton, D.J. Dallas, Bandy, and byhe way Mark Richt when he was recruited. All in from the get go. Couldn't wait to be here. All of them turned out to be winners. On the other side we have the primadonnas telling us one thing and telling the other schools something different. Keef was an example. So was Patrick Peterson, C.J. Henderson, Collins, the RB from the muck who was almost disowned by his mom, and now possibly Jobe. I say possibly because we don't know yet what he's telling the coaches. My question is this. How many of these kids have gone our way?

Don't agree Brock. These kids were completely honest with the staff through the whole process. The kids I mentioned jerked us around. Was the muck RB named Antoine Smith.? He led the staff on until the morning of the day he committed to. FSU. Mathew Thomas was another beauty along with the Booker T OL who gave silents to both us and FSU then ended up at Arkansas

You must have selective memory, navaughn donaldson at one point said he wouldn’t officially visit miami and talked favorably of uf and fsu after their visits. Chad Thomas visited fsu and Bama back to back on the final weekends leading up to signing day. Ahmmon Richards and Zach mccloud made several visits and mccloud made several positive comments of other programs like auburn. Tyree St. Louis visited uf the week before signing day too...

At the end of day I don’t and not many on here know what he ultimately will do but all we can do is have faith in our staff and trust what pete and coach duasso say about the situation who is much closer than any of us with jobe. Coach duasso alluded to this in his interview with pete the other day ...... hint , hint

That last time he was here and met with coaches the main concern was his academic plan, we impressed him with what they have planned for him so thats y i think he will get signed.
