JJ has a lot to say

Original post that we have "nothing to offer big time recruits" is crap
..... walk into any stud south florida kid's house and tell Momma that their son will be playing in their back yard and they can watch every home guy
- tell her that he will attend a top 50 university
- tell her that bc you are a great coach with a proven track record.... her son will play on Sunday

All we need to do is a get an innovative coach and this becomes a top 15 program ....... and please spare me that noise that we "cant be satisfied being top 15 - we need to play for a title every year".

it's so simple to succeed here; this is why it's so baffling.

we don't need a long stay at coach. we just need someone who can implement a fast, easy to learn, and aggressive systems of offense and defense.

then he can attract the tremendous local talent to stay.

sprinkle in the copious number of successful pro players mentoring the young kids and the "playing in Miami" factor.

on the recruiting visits, don't go full shapiro, but show them that players DO get special treatment. just don't give them lame cookies and bowling trips.

turn the other eye on admission and non-violent and non felonious legal problems

I didn't even know people bowled anymore. I haven't seen the inside of a bowling alley in over 50 years.

Go to a university that has a large base of players going to and succeeding in the NFL.
