Thing is, we probably wouldnt have Heatherman though.Hope we can gwt at least dive years out of him.

The dude is on another level and I would “take” him in a heartbeat. But my question is - how much does he cost and is it good value paying a premium like that for 1 WR? Totally a guess here but if he cost 10% or more of our budget, is he still a take?

Look...I don't want him here (to prove a point). Wed obviously take him and so would I. He chose what was best for him at the time.

With that said, he and many others are going to go their entire lives with the faintest idea in the back of their head of why didn't they go to their hometown school. Especially since their families are huge Miami fans. He knows he would've been a first round pick no matter where he went.

What left does he have to prove? Breaking records at OSU? He took the easy way out and their offense brings back many of their weapons. He will stay at OSU and he unfortunately will have to live with the faintest nag in the back of his mind. Maybe not today while he's young, maybe when he's a little older and a little wiser.

Now, lets go put the same thought in the back of a few kids minds at Georgia that left us high and dry as well.

He went out, picked them, balled out, talked some **** against us, balled out again, and in defeat, congratulated everyone and shook everyone's hand.

People can post negatively all they want to, that's a well-raised man that'll do a lot of great things regardless of where he ends up being.
 
Aint no sane **** gonna say no to JJ if its a possibility. Lets be real. Also its none of our decision or in our hands. I just wanted him to go freeze in Ohio for a couple of days, think about what he done and then say u know what, i got 1 year to rehab my image in SO FL and hopefully help us complete the back to back Ohio couldnt. If we have him and Toney, aint nobody stopping this offense. Who u gonna double?

Yes this was my take away as well. I saw someone bashing him about not doing press after the game as if he was a bad sport. What I see there is a class act. I don’t expect him to leave OSU but if he did, I would be thrilled to have him.

PAY HEATHERMAN FIRST!!!!

Keep him here for at least one to two more cycles. JJ is not a priority. There are enough talented kids coming up who will substitute for his talents. But Heatherman is another Brent Venables. We need to remember that while Offense wins games, Defense wins Championships.

Heatherman is an Absolute Priority. As I always say, hit up the Gulf Cartel if necessary to pay him a bonus and hire what Assistants he wants.

Agree. Dude just had the quietest 7 receptions for a buck fifty and td, and may have busted the achilles of one of our better cover corners just trying to keep up with him.
