Don't play



This doesn't look like much, but in this say and age, you get suspended...like he did.

I don't know how he is as a Defensive Coordinator, but dude looks intense.

As some have said, Jimmy the Lake and Belk are DC candidates

I remember Erickson dragging... I think it was Caesar... off the field by his face mask after yet ANOTHER PF at the Cotton Bowl. Walked him about 15 yards from the hash almost to the bench. Different times.

Whoa - that's some fire right there. Haven't seen a coach pop off like that since Woody Hayes popped that cat from Clempson.
 
subpar coordinator to begin with imo, add in all the negative media attention when we're trying to build a "family" culture, no thanks, pass

I know he isn’t coming, but I’m a fan as well and was legit curious about his numbers so just looked them up too. Complex defensive, not the most aggressive either based off what I have seen but our talent level and pass rushers would be quite the upgrade for him. He wasn’t ready for HC job, but the guy is a **** good DC.
 
He ask shoved a player 2019 when he was Wash DC. These incidents probably played a large part in his being fired as HC after only 13 games. Have no problem with it myself but today's world it gets you in trouble

Was that before Erickson just gave up and said f'k it? Because those boys were not going to stop that beat down on Texas while rubbing their noses in it no matter what he did.

DE was not happy about all the personal fouls and late hits. He was understandably livid. Some were so dumb. Caesar ran 15 yards to hit a guy in the back 10 seconds after the whistle, right in front of our bench. I don't think he minded the post-TD unsportsmanlikes though.

Yeah, I remember hearing him reminisce about that game and he admitted he could not really control the players. The inmates took over the asylum. And he just let them play. What can you tell these guys as they were just having their way with Texas. Plus Texas was talking a lot of smack during week. We did the talking during the game.
