Jimmy Johnson was right.

I was freaking out about the :00 and the LONG pause after before the snap.

They did do those intentional grounding calls. Which is fine. But some of the **** they called on us, the same that ND was doing and were non-calling it.

However you officiate in a game, be consistent. That'll **** ANYONE off.
The intentional grounding calls, both of them, were called when the crowd was going ballistic that I flag had been thrown. Even then, it took them a while to make th call. They clearly were pulling for ND.

I have never in my life heard “after discussion there was no holding”. Been watching football a long time
How can something another official saw possibly negate the first official seeing a hold they threw a flag for? I don't think they can even bull**** an answer here...it's literally impossible.

The Dylan day penalty was hilarious with his helmet coming off…

The ND LB picking up and spearing our player into the ground was another wtf moment

The ticky tack blay call on the punt return that backed us up was hilarious that not even the broadcasting ref could try and save…

Oh yeah and seeing Toney get man handled the entire second half with no call was brutal…

But hey they never missed a call on us and then some to help get them back into a comeback territory

If we play them again in the playoffs someone will have to pre-threaten the refs that the streets are watching

Dont forget them trying to let those intentional grounding calls slide.
Was crazy, they almost needed to be prompted to make the call...
like that lame 3 foot shot put as Carr got creamed was a actual pass.

The holding call on Cooper and no-call on the defender on the same play was one of the worst ever. And when have you ever seen refs pick up a flag when they called holding on an offensive lineman?
The non call on ND when the LB picked up Marty Brown and slammed him down out of bounds. The non PI call when ND DB went over the back on Josh Moore in the 4th quarter. The phantom PI on Poyser on the ND rub route. We got called for this on offense a few times last year. The phantom personal foul unnecessary roughness on Dylan Day inside the 5 yard line. The phantom holding call on Cooper. The completely bogus PF on Blay........And on and on.

Freeman is a whiner; constantly in ref’s ear. The Umpire of the crew was the absolute worst. “After discussion, there is no holding call”....HUH? When Canes came out after the half and immediately scored, the flags then started flying. It looked like refs were trying to keep ND in the game.:stupid:

On that last drive, I swear the Ref standing by Marion..,that didn’t throw the flag even though he was standing right there…was trying to say it was offensive PI…go watch the replay
Across the field but my section saw that signal and I think everyone waa ready to lose it at that point if it was OPI

Welcome to life as a Miami fan, bruh.

They had a a bad stretch for sure but it also coincided with us playing bad football. In their defense they were effectively non-existent in the 1st half.

5-30 vs 6-52 isn’t nearly as criminal as a lot of games.
Two of Notre Dame’s penalties were blatant intentional grounding calls. The bigger issue was the timing of the calls that Notre Dame got. Especially on things like holding which are mostly subjective. Miami was also hit with a drive extending personal foul penalty for a very minor incident that even the announcers thought was excessive.

That part WTF was that?

My problem was the inconsistency in what they were calling. Called PF on I think Moten on the punt, next play Brown is lifted up and slammed OB in front of 2 officials. Poyser was called for PI which was limited and minimal contact but the no call on Toney when the ball was in the air with the same amount of contact. Either throw the flag for both or let both go. Inconsistency in penalties is what makes things look rigged.
