Jimmy Graham!

Graham was probably the most fundamentally flawed (basketball) TE we ever had, and the most freakish natural athlete at TE all at the same time. He and Greg Olsen kept the Tight End U stigma going for us in the NFL by themselves. Big reason why we never stopped recruiting great tight ends out of HS during some dark years in my opinion.

He was traded for an OL I believe. Max something. I remember Brees was apparently ****ed about it. Would have really benefited his career to stay with the Saints.
Max Unger, yeah. That trade made no sense to me at the time. If you're a run-first offense like Seattle was, why trade an OL for a receiving TE if you aren't going to change your offense? Had the Saints kept Graham, his numbers would have been astronomical

While Jimmy was a beast, on straight athleticism I'd go Njoku.

So am I the only one who watches the replay and see's the DB holding Jimmy's arm with no flag being thrown. Then I remembered I'm a CANE and so is he and it made sense.

He can make the hall if he out points gronk in the major categories. He will be the direct compare

But I think Graham's got a bit lazy on the field starting in Green Bay. He goes for a lot of one handed catches, even when he can get two on the ball. There was a play last night that Aikman caught, where all Jimmy needs to do is come back a yard for the ball for a 20 yard pickup - and tries to catch it in his chest.
