Through 50 games, Jimbo (35-15) officially has a worse record than Kevin Sumlin did (36-14)

Hilarious that they gave him that huge contract and it has led to literally no progress for their program



clearly jimbo's contract means that he's safe for a long time, but crazy to see the level of expectation change dramatically. Maybe they don't care about records and are just happy with him beating saban once every 5-10 years

Jimbo WAS very effective at FSU. Try and repaint it all you like, but he took a dilapidated FSU squad and built them to an elite of the elite program. I just think chemistry, culture, fit and maybe most importantly - era - is really important. Sometimes, when a coach goes to the right program at the right time, he meets with success that wouldn't happen at another time or at the same place again.

True, but to be fair FSU was in shambles when Jimbo left.

The depth chart on their DL is unreal. At least six 5-star DL are eligible to play. The rest are 4-stars. App State ran over 80 plays, TOP was > 41 minutes. That's coaching. They definitely have the talent.
