Is this meme talking to the farmers currently (unnecessarily) being bailed out by the government bc of the (also unnecessary) tariff war we're losing w China? Or the people of conservative Utah, Nebraska, Idaho, and soon to be Mississippi that recently expanded Medicaid to opt into Obamacare? Mississippi and Louisiana have more people on food stamps than New York does.
 
What does all of this have to do with Leavitt? Is he going on Medicaid or collecting welfare? Guys seriously add years to your life and don't watch the news, your going to get whipped up into a frenzy for no reason and your life isn't going to change so who gives a ****.

Hmm, yes, farm price supports started when the "Tarrif War" was started...uh,no, they were signed into the law by FDR as the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1933, part of his NEW DEAL...Sound familiar?

Not much of a "war" since China requires foreign companies to always partner with a Chinese company (most state owned) in order to sell in China. For example, Bailed out GM (You know, the company closing US plants) has to team with Shanghai Automotive (SAIC) in order to sell vehicles in China...Made in China, of course. Don't take my word for it, go down to your Buick dealer and test drive the SAIC-built Envision GM has imported.

So people vote for "free" federal money? Who Knew? Take a look at Utah's Medicaid expansion. It includes <GASP!> spending caps to try to keep the program afloat when the Federal $$$ stops...A GOP idea

This proves what? New York has been a wealthy area since the Colonial days. Since the New Deal to the Great Society, we have spent TRILLION$ in the "War on Poverty" and guess what, there is STILL POVERTY. No amount of Federal Spending or Socialism will solve this, it will only make more people poorer...The Federal Government is grossly inefficient in most endeavors

The irony is that the red states have far more people on tne welfare roles than the blue states, but the red staters are so hoodwinked they keep voting against their own interests.

Soooo just to be clear ... red state Utah did in fact expand Medicaid (caps and all which may not even get approved and goes against what the voters wanted), as did Nebraska and Idaho?

GM is closing plants...

Farmers who were doing just fine two years ago are now receiving bailout money from the federal government bc of tariffs no one asked for or wanted ("trade wars are easy" ...

And conservative red states receive more entitlements then liberal blue states...

Glad we agree.

Yep. True. Because we gave a huge tax break to the wealthiest among us, were gonna run up insurmountable debt.

Remember when they told us that the tax cut would result in increased reinvestment in businesses and increased wages for the rest of us. Yea, that was all a lie. Most of us knew that tho.

Oh neither party is fiscally responsible at all. I am an independent and vote for a candidate, not a party. That said... both parties spend recklessly, but one party will raise revenue while other slashes it. So......
