Michigan has one title in my lifetime , they’re not what Michigan fans or cfb fans think.
Harbaugh isn’t a Saban or urban, but the same folks calling him overrated would’ve called belichik and awful hire for NE. I mean he got fired at Cleveland.
Jim wins at a pretty **** high level everywhere he goes.

Bruh he’s a Corch. Yeah he did some good stuff and never sustained it. And honestly if it wasn’t for the insane amount of money they gave Their DC and the insane amount of money they are dropping on the trail that thing would be a complete dumpsters fire.
What Harbaugh accomplished at Stanford was notable. He also recruited and had an NFL 1st overall pick at QB, so he got ‘lucky. He hasn’t been able to recruit a QB anywhere near as good at Michigan. One would think he could attract top QBs with Andrew Luck, coaching SF to a SB, and being a former NFL QB on his resume.
Is he a recruiting failure more than gameday? Every HC has gameday mistakes, even Saban and Dabo.

I am not jumping on the bandwagon. I've said he was over-rated for years. He does not win at a "high level everywhere". He won the Pioneer League, twice. He never won the Pac 12 and has not won the Big 10. In fact he never even won his division outright. Shaw is the far more successful Pac 12 coach and it isn't close.
He is far better suited for college ball because he is so **** weird that he wears people out. He needs the player turnover because they tune him out after a while. His problem is that he wants to build his college program around the QB. That rarely works as most college QBs aren't that good and the good ones go pro. What you saw today was yet another example of Michigan without an actual identity. Beating a Harbaugh team is pretty simple - keep the first half close, run the ball, wait for them to panic, and you'll be in it at the end.

David Shaw is an excellent coach but took over highly ranked (#4th) Stanford team, one Harbaugh left him. Stanford was 1-11 the year for Harbaugh took the HC job. Yes, he never won the PAC 12, but also did not stay very long. Heck, he beat USC and Pete Carroll as a 41-point underdog.
His problem is he can’t seem to recruit a top QB to Michigan.
