Jim Harbaugh

His tenure at UM is the most overrated a coach has ever been in history, and it's not even close. Every single year they get touted as a title contender and do nothing. Absolutely nothing. And it's not like he doesn't have a roster of blue chip guys to work with. He has pretty much his entire time there, especially the last handful of years. Guy is a bum.

Michigan formation.webp

They will get rolled by Taint again and he will be off to the NFL before he gets canned....

He's trash and is going to get smoked by three touchdowns by Ohio State again this year.

Y’all boys killed me for this 5 years ago cuz
@Cribby u my guy still

Harbaugh ain’t like THAT

My opinion hasn’t changed , I’ve seen him do way too much at too many places to call him overrated.

San Diego and Stanford alone was amazing. Then the mess he took over in SF , he made Alex smiff look good , that horrid offense look good and Kapaernik look good. We saw how he played after Jim left.

IMO he never wanted this job , his heart is and always will be in pro ball. They just threw ungodly money at him and guilted him into saving the alma mater.

But he hasn’t lived up to the hype at Michigan but dudes still a really good coach.

It’s programs like Michigan that make schools like us weary of spending money.
Could you imagine what would happen here with that school’s program and recruiting budget? Ohh lawd!
UM for years was saying “why spend all that money for the same results at 1/4 of he budget”.
It amazing he hasn’t been let go.
He’s starting to become that expensive date that doesn’t put out. No one likes to spend money to go home and jerk off.

Michigan as a program is overrated..Harbaugh is not. But ppl who put him on sabans and Urbans level did that because, once again they thought Michigan could return to something they haven’t been in a generation

Well I could respect that

Exactly.

Michigan has one title in my lifetime , they’re not what Michigan fans or cfb fans think.

Harbaugh isn’t a Saban or urban, but the same folks calling him overrated would’ve called belichik and awful hire for NE. I mean he got fired at Cleveland.

Jim wins at a pretty **** high level everywhere he goes.

Dude their defense got plowed by the lizards in the bowl game. Wins matter not rankings. Although the better teams have better O and D stats.

I was being sarcastic. That is word for word what everyone says about Manny whenever he is questioned. "HE HAD THE 2nd BEST DEFENSE IN THE REGULAR SEASON!!!!!"

Michigan missed its chance to go private during the 2007- 2009 economic upheaveal. Then it could of controlled admissions, gained prestige, and allowed Harbaugh to mimic his success at Stanford (especially with Stephen Ross money). Unfortunately, it got guilted into staying public and now has to bankroll lower income in-state free tuition. The money has to come from somewhere and Michigan can't keep paying Head Coach after Head Coach...Maybe they could team up with Tennessee and get a discount in the inevitable next search.
