If he has an agent I’m sure they’re advising him to do this. Smart business move. Portal is slim at DT and SEC schools are ponying up massive $ for average players.

Moderate sting. Good player but not exactly a game changing DT. Still a loss due to the snaps he was going to play.

This one will make you go ouch and then see some swelling but it can quickly go down with the right replacement/ointment.

There's a plan and this isn't totally unexpected but it probably means we have to spend less at other positions. We can't be soft again inside or like you said, teams will pound the rock. Maybe this is a hot take, but I dont think any WR in the portal rn deserves to be prioritized over more DTs. I wouldve taken 2 more DTs anyways, now it becomes a requirement IMO.
