Tough to keep someone who wants to make his fortune outside SoFla (at least appears that way)...

he is just taking a job out of state...happens all the time in all walks of life...

Enough doom and gloom already. If North Carolina can win 11 games, and darn near go undefeated, why can't we? ANYTHING can happen when you have a great QB and a great play caller. This isn't a scrub of a team. Tell me, how is it we almost beat FSU two years in a row but don't have the talent to win the Coastal, and possibly the ACC? This isn't Larry Coker, Randy Shannon, or Al Golden's Miami Hurricanes anymore.

No it is not. Please don't be delusional like those boys up north in Tally.

I think we "shock" the world by winning the Coastal and maybe 10+ games, but we don't have the depth at key positions to make the playoffs.

Jerry Jeudy was a luxury recruit. We don't need him, but adding a WR like him would make this offense hard to stop with all the weapons.

Ahmmon Richards is better than Jeudy he's Devante Parker, but faster.
 
Hard to say i liked juedy more at,this point than richards was when he was a senior......my thing is we should have both.

Its just a disturbing trend that Bama can continually come down here and pluck the top WR out of our back yard. It was bad with Cooper. It was bad with Ridley. And it just happened again with Jeudy. Its a trend that has to stop. Kids don't respect the U like they used to. The fact that Florida, who doesn't even have a decent QB, was supposedly Jeudy's second choice adds even more insult to injury.

Why do people carry on like Bama is cleanin' up SF/Florida in recruiting?

We signed 9 SF/Florida kids with Bama offers this year...Bama?...ZERO.

We're more than holding our own against them, it's FSU we have to start beatin' in crootin'.

Because Larry Fedora has slowly but surely recruited well enough to get kids that fit the schemes that he and his staff implement. This will be Richt and his staff's first year. It takes time to build greatness, it just doesn't happen in an instance. You're right, this is not some scrub team. We kept those games against FSU close because that was the only time Golden & Co. encouraged our players to really focus. The non-scrub team then went on to get blown out at home two weeks later by a team with similar talent to FSU.

I'm also not sure how predicting our ceiling is defined as "doom and gloom"? I clearly said we'll win the Coastal, as you said we have too much talent to not win, but I'm not ready to predict playoffs in year 1. Let's play games against FSU and ND first.

He is overrated but he runs good routes and knows how to get separation. Imagine if he wasn't so stiff :sanford:

Jeudy confirmed that was a lie. The Pro-UF reporters took what he said out of context.

Day after Paradise Camp I asked Richards what he thought of Jeudy and he said that Jeudy is really good..but he was expecting a little more out of him at the camp....I would have love to see him and Blades go at it...Blades had his side of the field on lock... I am one that seems to think that Juedy is not elite...from what I saw most of his routes were 5 second routes.. which are not goona work in game time situations...have to watch his SR Highlights...to be sold

The fact that we bring up a golden commit to compare to jeudy is disturbing, how many more excuses so now we have richords we dont need jeudy? That makes zero sense at all

Nobody is crying we are holding this staff accountable just like any other fanbase would, it is cruical to somehow someway stop the pipeline of players leaving the area especially guys like jeudy
 
Losing out on Jeudy sucks but it's hardly the end of the world. You can't blame the staff as they've had the full court press on him for a while. It's not like they were ignoring him or refusing to recruit him. Dude wants to go elsewhere for whatever reason. Keep in contact with him during the season, maybe he flips if Miami has a great season. If not, peace. Next man up.
