This kid last year was a mid to high 4 star and this year he dropped to a low 3 to a high 2 star. Did he like run a 6.0 forty or something? Anyone have the story on this kid?

Some have said he was bigger than everyone else early in his career, garnering him that attention/ranking, and each year since hasn't really grown anymore or improved.....thus leading to his current ranking.

I know nothing else about him

I think Ivans said he was offered early by the top schools like Alabama early in high school but he just stopped growing. His stock plummeted.

kid was offered at bama at 14 playing DE, he was a monster... alot of people thought he woulda kept growing to 6'4-6'5..but he topped out at 6'2..had productive years at Miami Central, but went back to Champagnat senior year to play LB and he has flourished... alos he didnt camp much so that doesnt help

Thanks for the info, I've never seen a players ranking so up and down so that makes sense.

MIKE. Not as fast as Greene which is why they prioritized him but Machado is a good player and tough. He also has some pass rush ability.

he seems at least an inch or two shorter than Harrell in pictures together. Might be 6’....might be

From David Furones article:

Missing on Green could mean the Hurricanes hand out a late offer to Hialeah Champagnat linebacker Jesus Machado, who Champagnat coach Hector Clavijo told the South Florida Sun Sentinel would likely commit on the spot if offered.
