Jes(sica) Simpson.

The defensive line played ok. I give them a C+ They played generated enough of a pass rush to force LSU to keep in TE and RB's to help protect. They where 50/50 stopping the run. Sometimes they stuffed the RB, and yet sometimes LSU would bust a 5-10+ yard run. LSU converted most of the 3rd/4th and short by running the ball and succeeded often in moving the chains. So I would not say we were great at run defense. But not terrible. Like I said, a C+ for them.
On defense we have MUCH bigger issues at defensive back. Redwine, Dean, and Knowles are pretty terrible DB's and Rumph/Banda's recruiting and coaching leaves much to be desired.

That’s due to the aggressiveness
I'm good with the aggressive penalties.

I believe it was one of the DT's who jumped on the 4th down play.
No excuse with the ball right under his chin.

We didn't get our moneys worth on the D Jax QB roughing call.
If he rung his bell a bit on a borderline call, I'm good.
A step and a half with half-*** hit? Not good.

Regarding the ejection on Bandy. The refs should take a second look at the rule as it covers "intent".
Pinkney's hit on the same play, if that was helmet to helmet, is what one with bad intentions really looks like.

They were 3-16 on 3rd down and they went on 4th once...where do y’all get your stuff from?

Not his fault our best options at DT include Bethel and Odenigbo.

Well when your brilliant DC stunts and blitzes to one side and leaves a gap to be covered by a LB that he coaches and then said LB over shoots it because he doesn’t know what gap integrity is...it’s kinda not their fault. Unless of course you want them to disregard the play call.

You should sit this one out champ...
this... plus having Robert Knowles at FS on the play

OP is upset with the wrong line coach...

And re: the feast or famine, TFL or gash, that's Diaz's defense as a whole.
