Please God, no, not again.

At some point the ratings are going to be so bad from people being tired of the same teams year after year that the NCAA is going to put its thumb on the scale (I think this last season was the lowest in a decade). Thing is, these teams aren't even earning it, they are known cheaters. I've got 100x the respect for Petersen at UW than I do for Sabag. As long as Emmert is the boss, SEC is untouchable, which means it's bad news for Dabo when the NCAA decides one of the perennial contenders has to take the fall.

Well..we know this list bs..how Bama not in the Unofficial-official Alabama invitational?

Who is Jerry Palm?

Jerry Palm was an early NCAA bracketologist and developed a reputation for accuracy. He was probably the first to rely on RPI.

He moved on to college playoff predictions.

His websites were collegerpi.com and collegebcs.com.

I used to follow him 15-20 years ago.

I stopped when he started charging subscription fees. And when UM football stopped being a factor in playoffs.

Orange Bowl means we finished #2 in the ACC, doesn't it? I think that is what is expected in year 1 of the Diaz era. Standard expectation=par. There is no excuse for Miami not to win the ACC coastal this year. Looks like 10 wins is the minimum to get to the OB, but I think this team should be able to win 10 games this season.

There has been no excuse for us not to win the coastal for any of the past 15 years either.

What would happen if Miami goes 12-0, then loses to Clemson in ACC championship

No. If clemson wins the acc but doesn't make the playoffs they will play in the orange bowl. The orange bowl takes the acc winner on the years it's not hosting a playoff game.

We could still get into the playoffs depending on how Florida does the rest of the season and if the Clemson lost went down to the wire and wasn’t a blowout.

LOL at people thinking playoffs are a chance this year. Winning a crap ton of games IS a real possibility this season due to schedule and better coaches but we are still going to be 20 points worse then Clemson IMO in the ACCTG . Playing in a major bowl game ( and the Orange Bowl at that) is a great reward for a great season . That IMO is the best case scenario especially against Notre Dame . I think we drop 1 game in the regular season ( either UF or UVA) and then lose to Clemson and win the bowl game so 12-2 final record . That would be a **** of a season for year 1.
