Tough to say if this is a good thing. He did some good things for them and spent good money but he also hired McElwin, Muschamp, and Zook. I'll miss those bust hires from them.

Not once during his 25-year tenure did Florida's football team leave the state for a non-conference regular season game...Yes, the 'Canes and Free Shoes helped them keep up strength of schedule, but let that sink in...

Say what you want about him he is a very good AD. Hiring Meyer and Billy Donovan offsets the hiring of Zook and Muschamp by a lot.
