Bottom line is that he could have answered that question a million different ways without having to diss/ **** on his hometown.. I couldn’t imagine doing that to my own people but it’s doesn’t matter just petty **** for fans to talk about until we punch em in the mouth on NYE.

I grew up in the Florida panhandle (about 15 miles outside of Tallahassee), but Ive been a diehard Cane since forever

First off the first sentences is a flat out lie lmfao and u know it. And i don’t expect that to even happen lmao because why would a Miami hurricanes board root for anything more than the actual team.

Secondly you and alot of people on this board are in the very very small minority of people who may be from miami and have no love for someone who made it to be successful from miami

But like i said in another post there are two different Miami’s lol

People like you think the city of Miami is directly attached to the university and that’s just not true at all

These kids never see the campus until they get called for a visit. So yall seeing it as some type of betrayal is just yall having a false reality of what they actually consider home

So no matter how strongly u feel lmao all the players you named are sfla legends because making it out of their circumstances and improving their families life is way bigger than what college you play football for

I agree with what most of you said but this week is not the week to show love to JJ smith or Inniss or anybody from Ohio state cause they’re from Miami it’s **** everything they stand for the next week
 
1. I have said on this board 1000X that I have no issue with the decision this kid made. 99.9% of the time, I'm salty, but in this particular one, I can't fault him for taking the proven path to being a multi-millionaire compared to the situation Miami was in.

2. That being said, I hope Poyser hits him so hard we have to use a shop-vac to suck up bits and pieces of his teeth from the Jerryworld turf. **** him, today and tomorrow and always. It's always about this U and nothing else, ever.

So I guess we should ignore Uncle Luke and all the hype from the 80s? This team has always been the city’s team…anyone who says otherwise isn’t from Miami or biased. Plenty of top recruits stayed at Miami when we were down because they wanted to bring the program back…JS chose not to

Jeremiah Smith looks out for Jeremiah Smith, and I don’t fault him for that. But don’t expect me to be happy for him just because he’s from South Florida. I don’t know the guy but the ways he’s chirping I hope he gets some humble pie smashed into his face
