MEGA Jeremiah Smith Thread

Facts. I can guarantee you nobody in Miami aside from ppl that know him personally celebrated him winning a championship for ******* Ohio State like let’s be real.
And the people in Ohio really don’t care about HIM. They like his production while he’s there, then it’s over. They’re just renting him and then he’s gone. That hometown love will never go away if you do that for your home team. But he gave all that away for the money and easy path

Y’all gotta let that pain go lol…it’s ok he chose the ****eyes…UM will be just fine.
I never cared about this jit not coming here it was clear very early he wasn’t feeling Miami like that so I barely paid attention..but now we just so happen to play them on our path to #6 so it’s **** Ohio state and **** him for the next 10 days

Something I have never thought about. Anyone that saw the Fiesta game and is completely honest, knows Miami was hosed. I wonder how honest OSU fans really feel about that victory. Flip the script, I wonder how I would feel as a Miami fan knowing we cheated our way to a NC? I honestly have to say it would not feel the same.
They hadn’t won a NC since 1968 when that game unfolded.
I’ve been around enough of them and seen enough to know they’ll do anything to win. They don’t care how.
Check out that documentary that is sickening about the doctor/wrestling team cover up.

Look man imma say this. Dude made his decision, he did what was best for his family and his path to the first round of the NFL. Thats cool. What he gotta understand is there are pros and cons to everything. Like the great Jimmy Johnson always said-
“Either you play with us or get beat by us.”
That beating is long overdue for these Buck nutz.

Again you can think the sellout is a legend all you want but he isn't what you're making him out to be. Nobody denying his talent but he isn't that kind of legend down here bro
How are you going to him that JJ is not a legend. You probably never stepped football in the neighborhoods JJ, Jojo, Toney are from. I doubt they care what some white guy in Hialeah says

Gogeta actually coaches and is from their neighborhoods

Agreed. Even though he is a hometown kid, he will never get the love that our current and past great players get when they are out and about in the city.

of course the ppl who know him, are from his neighborhood, and the football scene here in general will consider him a legend & that’s perfectly fine he’s an elite talent at the end of the day, but there’s a different level of legend status you reach when you become the hometown hero. I know ppl down here who don’t even pay attention to college football like that who know about Malachi Toney simply because he’s doing it for the home team. I guarantee you we start seeing more elite kids stay home after him

The Suckeyes are absolutely gettable, and where I think the biggest advantage for us is our D-Line vs. their O-Line. If you watched the Indiana-OSU game the Hoosiers D-Line dominated that game and had something like 5 sacks. Now imagine our trench bullies and what they’ll do. Also, people need to remember Sayin is still young/green and won’t have experienced pressure like this before. One thing that is a must for us though is Beck has GOT to play better. He doesn’t need to throw for 350, but has to hit more throws than he did against A&M.
It’s indoors. Shouldn’t be a problem.

I don't want to let facts get in the way but I'm listening to his full interview now and hes respectful and says how many friends he has out there. Says it will be chippy but cant wait to take pics with Jojo and his family after the game. Said Keonte is a really good player.
Hey it is motivating the posters here who are playing the game on the 31st. Im sure JJ is shaking at a bunch of old guys with bald spots, c-cups and shopping for pull ups because they can't control their bladder. .

Jerry Jeudy and Isaiah Horton didn't get this kind of Negative Reaction when they went off to play for Bama. ESPECIALLY Jeudy, who came to Mark Richt's Paradise Camp and basically showed out the rest of the Recruits who were there but ended up getting a Ring for Uncle Nick.

LOTS of our Hometown Kids ended up going to work for Saban and Bama. Some of them went to OSU and Michigan. We got used to our kids leaving town because, frankly, we sucked.

I want our Secondary to to abuse this kid in the worst way and neutralize him (and his partner on the other side of the field). But look, he's not some sort of Judas. He did what any kid who had committed to playing WR in the NFL would have done (especially after watching what they had done with Marvin Harrison, Jr.) , he went to play for Brian Hartline. This is business. This isn't the Eighties. Howard could build a team out of loyalty to the City and the University when he first got here back in 1978. That won't put food on the table now.

The ONLY reason why Miami is competitive at all is because Echeverria, Cristobal and the Columbus High Mafia and the rest of the business community in South Florida finally figured out that you have to invest money into football to make money for some of the rest of the sports in this town. UM Football is one of the few franchises besides the Panthers that is doing well. It's a business. Sometimes you drop the ball. Jeremiah Smith was a fumble, but it was one in which Canes Administration and Football might have done better had they addressed a kid who had been targeted by the Buckeyes a lot earlier. On the other hand, it might have changed nothing at all. The kid might have always been OSU from the getgo.

It's probably just enough for us to move on, hope that the team beats Taint in the playoff game, and resolves to make sure that the Dalvin Cooks and Jeremiah Smiths of this world don't leave town anymore.

Very well said. The hate he is getting is unjustified. It’s his life and he made a choice that he thought was best for his future. So far it’s been an excellent decision. People are acting like he is going to get jumped if he shows his face in S Florida again. Life is way less serious outside of message boards. This is a game him and his friends on Miami will talk about the rest of their lives. I’m sure he is excited as ****. All the kids that left Miami without a second thought to go play at Bama and other places don’t get this kind of negativity. We are just coming out of a 20 year coma. More of them will stay if we keep this rolling.

One man is credited for holding Larry Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson for 5 catches and 36 yards and it was a Miami Hurricane.

It can be done.

Who is our Antrel Rolle?

JJ is a man just like them. He bleeds.
