This. I am so sick of this kid’s name. He needs to go pro ASAP and out of our lives.
 
He’s been given everything, only wanted to go to a team that could continue giving him everything, not a foundation maker only a taker , definitely not a giver in anyway.

That's such a dumb way to think about things.

When you're good, you land kids from all over the country. We did it in our prime, we'll do so if we keep on this trajectory and in some regards are, but it's different now wirh NIL.

Winning makes everyone that's the best want to get on board and play against the best. Add to it, NFL draft picks and production, if we could be so lucky. It's like when you're good at your job and are recruited to work at a competitor. Everyone wants to reach the top or play at the top.

Kids these days watch less football each year. They have their hands out for NIL deals, want to play for consistent winners, and look at who produces NFL talent. There's so few diehard fans of programs, they're making business decisions.

True story, most of the people on this board will give more of a crap about this U than even some of the players who play here. For many, it's a means to an end, a chance to better their lives, and essentially a job or bridge to their life job. If you had played in college, you'd know this.
 
Mario's response was pure class.

You can kinda tell its hurting Smith that hes not part of what we got going on. I dont think he thought in a million years we'd be here, let alone in his second season.

But that speaks to his doubt. I got no hate toward the kid, but with that said, hold them camps and drives up there in Columbus til you get to the NFL.

I’m pretty sure most of us know that the actual players on the team and coaches obviously don’t feel that way about the kid they grew up with him and a lot of em are his actual friends ..we on the other hand are fans & irrationally passionate about the team we root for that’s all so it’s **** him n everything OSU stands for

the kid never acted like a clown during his recruitment, he was definitely conflicted but he wasn't a goofball like cormani or that kid stubbs last year. I dont think he has any bad feelings towards um.

I’m not saying he’s a bad character kid, football aside he seems like a excellent young man with an bright future, but when them orange n green glasses come on I could give two ***** about him that’s all bro lol
