He's been likened to both Andre Johnson and Ed Reed. Rising Stars has Jeffrey Oneal Jr as the #1 SFL recruit in the 29 cycle. so its appropriate that Jeffrey Oneal Jr is the first recruit using the 29 prefix.

Although I can't find the offer on his timeline, 247 says Tucker and the Canes were the first to offer on Jan 18, 2025. Tucker and the Canes offered him nearly two years ago as a sixth grader and the Canes were his initial offer. He's had a flood of offers from the likes of UGA, TAMU, Auburn etc. in the last couple of days.

ok, I found the UM offer, The 247 timeline is COMPLETELY wrong. We offered the kid nearly two years ago as a sixth grader! And yes, Tucker and crew found him first.


 
Jeffrey O’Neal Jr., WR/DB (2029) 6’2, 190 (some say 195+), formerly of Plantation High. The HUDL game film is of him weighing 170 lbs. almost a year ago. Speed is now developing and he is probably going to be 6'3"/6'5".
