I was getting Tai Stick on Captiva Island in the early 80s that was Unbelievable....But this stuff I had last month from a Chef buddy in Colorado was Complete Insanity...

Yes I'm sure. Back in the day it was hit and miss. When we landed a LB($500) or 1/2LB of killer **** we were the neighborhood celebrities. Two-toke-tea as it was called was the badest I ever tried in 71. We would get some tripping Columbian gold that was a bit sticky and had a gold sheen in 70-73.
The good old days.

May be the strength and stability that they need.

The Patriots KNOW what they are doing. Many malcontents were made that way because they were developed in a quagmire of inauthenticity and incompetence.

The Patriots won’t hold their hands, but they WILL teach them to play football the right way in a strong culture that is all business with strong leadership and no games.

Miami has TONS of bullshyt going on. The culture is bad because the leadership has been poor. Richt could have pulled it off but he isn’t a football first, win at all costs competitor that the program needs. Had had great strength but insurmountable flaws.

Don’t be surprised if Hill and Thomas flourish under their organization. They are long shots, but may be the types of hidden gems the Patriots are well known for developing.

You're absolutely right, this could be what they need. Jeff Thomas is a guy I loved at UM, I'm still rooting for him. But there's no denying that his career at Miami was a let down, and especially the way it ended. Talent has never been the issue, it's temperament.

If Belichick and crew can get this guy going in the right direction, it will be one of their great reclamation jobs and they'll have a dynamic player on their hands.

But he has to evolve and mature as a person, first and foremost

He may be too broken turn it around.

But with guys like him, the inability to trust people is a big factor in not being willing to listen or give 100% effort. He doesn’t have anything to believe in and that is a recipe for mediocre effort. 90% of the population can’t fix that all by themselves. They need leadership.

We have all seen stories of how tough love from a strong mentor has turned the lives of troubled young people around. We have also heard/seen the opposite.

We don’t know how JT4’s story will end. We do know that if he can’t turn it around with the Patriots, it is almost guaranteed he won’t have an NFL career.

@gruntking....Pulled out some nice ones and took Pics on my Deck out back....The Blue Spearhead is a Paleo Simpson...Approx 11,000 yrs old.....Found in the Chipola River by myself in 2000....Even some Local Artifact hunters who were with me said, they Never saw one pulled outta the Chipola like this one...and where talking 30yrs of them hunting the Chipola...I was offered $1,000 right then and there....but didn't sell....Recently I was offered $3,000 and still didnt sell...Found washed out of an Embankment on the Chipola (Skyblue Chert)
