@gruntking .....I finally let go of some stuff...Told you I would eventually....he wanted the entire collection...but I balked...
I've been excavating a Paleo Site in Polk County...have been for 2yrs...right off of Hwy 27....Private Property with the owners consent....So far have pull out 6 Paleo Projectile Points...and a treasure trove of Archaic Points.....After a rain last week....I found this Purple Coral Marion just sitting there for me to pick up....place is absolutely insane....Has a dried up Creek Bed where 2 Orange Groves slope downwards to it...and 2 Large Natural Spring Fed Lakes within 500yds.....

I use to spend a lot of time in georgia deer hunting. I always kick myself for not looking in the fsrm fields or creek beds more for artifscts.

I have a very close friend in Bainbridge....who has a Million Dollar collection...and thats being conservative...he hunts in and around the Flint River and the Choctawhatchee River....You simply cant believe what he has....He owns a Land Clearing company...Hence him being there as they Root-rake.....Mind Numbing stuff

I didnt know there was that much money in it. Most the guys I talked to just looked in freshly plowed fields or creek beds.

Tough year for me, have a blocking tight end from Colorado (auburn grad transfer), some teams want to work him out when things clear up but nothing immediate. Signed Rob Knowles but he's likely playing in Canada. Justin Vogel left his agent for me and we've been talking with a few teams.
Hopefully you get GR15 next year. I’m sure you’ll stay on the grind tho!

A buddy turned me on back in the early 90s in the Panhandle....We'd walk the shoreline of Choctawhatchee Bay in Destin after Storms.....When I moved to Orlando in 2000...I took it to another level and then some....I took classes at Valencia Community College in 04 and 05 (Pre Columbian Archeology) not so much for credits...but for personal knowledge....

Seems like a cool *** Floridian thing to do. I would smoke a fat jib and excavate for hours...

I sold this a few yrs back for $1,500....Made of Agatized Coral....Found it at a Construction Site in Lake County near some Silt Fence....5,000 to 6,000 yrs old....with Coral Polyps (starbursts) all over it....Museum Quality....
