Explain why Chud would be better?

He has never been a head coach in college

So what? Was Pete Carrol a college head coach before USC? Was Butch a college head coach before Miami? I could go on but its pointless. Was Bob Stoops a college head coach before OU? Was Jimbo Fisher? We cannot afford a proven guy that is worth paying big bucks.

The head coach has very little to do with recruiting. Its the staff and Chud would assemble a staff that would make you little head spin it would be so good. Barrow, Dorsey, Kevin Patrick, Mike Rumph, etc. Chud was a very good recruiter and will be an even better one with his resume and 3 title rings. I think he could convince Mario Cristobal to work under him at Miami.

and he coached one year in the NFL was fired and hasn't gotten a sniff since.

Lol...the Browns paid him 10.5 mil two years ago. He is waiting for the Cane job to open. Any other jobs and he forfeited a good portion of the money. His consultant job is a loophole. He turned down 49ers OC job last year. He wants this job.

Right who could recruit at miami 2001-2003 I mean miracles. Then again everyone says coker didn't recruit well yet Chud did, please explain? The teams he coached werebutch's. His guys are responsible for 2002-2006 not exactly an endorsement.

Shannon recruited well. . His defenses were good. He has rings from college and I believe the NFL.

Again not against Chud but I don't see some slam dunk
 
Would Chud be a serious candidate for any other HC opening at a Power 5 School? Do you think Maryland, USCe and USCw have Chud on their short list?
 
I think the argument there is that Chud is perfectly happy in the NFL. The only college gig he would take is UM. I've never met him, so that's pure speculation. But that certainly could explain away any notion that he hasn't been hired by other colleges. Or alternatively, maybe he has been offered and he turned them down. Anyone other than his agent and anyone not having the last name Chud will never know that.
 
Assistants do most of the work.

Golden has a terrible staff so he does most himself.

We have 4 coaches that are complete non factors. That is unheard of.

Randy recruited well in his first two years; however, had massive problems once everyone realized he was a horrible head coach. Same with Golden.

Nope. We're the only people that want to hire him and cause he once coached here. Before hue Jackson was ever mentioned did people think he would be great at Miami? If not why not. He's an OC in the NFL, he has one year of HC experience and was fired as well. Any reason why every Chud proponent never thought of Hue Jackson?
