Whoever the new HC ends up being I really think they should give Jedd Fisch another look for OC. Dude was amazing as an OC for the short time he was here. By far the best hire Golden ever made, dude made Jacory do a complete 180 his senior year.. Jedd got the short end of the stick in Jacksonville and has returned to college where he is the WR and QB coach for Michigan. I'm sure he would love another crack at coaching down here, just imagine what he would do with Kaaya.

Jedd Fisch was not a great OC either, just slightly better than Coley. He is a great QB coach though.
 
Hiring Fisch is like pulling a 6 out of the club....Yea your happy to take someone home... but its nothing to brag about or tell your friends

Lmao fair enough. Just think he's an upgrade over anything we've had since Whipple. Not really saying much though.
 
Fisch also got his *** kicked spectacularly a couple of times...K State in 2012 (13 points) and Notre Dame in 2012 (3 points) coming to mind specifically.

Leonard Hankerson, Allen Hurns, Phil Dorset and Duke Johnson made Fisch look alot better than he is.

Totally agree, not trying to defend anyone but when Fisch got here half his offense was suspended and the other half were Shannon rejects. The cupboards were bare. The talent is there minus the O line. I want the hire based solely so he can work with Kaaya, elite in the QB development department.
 
If your name is not Ice, Kehoe, or Beard....I don't want anyone ever associated w/ Golden on the new staff, period.

Youre reaching a little bit, there's a reason he got hired to be an OC in the NFL from Miami. If he stayed in Seattle he would've been the OC by now. Hankerson was horrible until Fisch arrived, and if anything Phillip Dorsett hurt Fisch's production. (See 2012 ND game) Dorsett couldn't catch a cold his first 2 seasons.

Larry Scott needs to be retained. Turned Walford into an All American and has our TEs looking great this season again.

Yes you're right, Hankerson was gone. Even better Fisch made streeter good, then that MF jumped ship before he should've.

Fisch wasn't all that great at calling plays ...

He's great at QB coaching, I'll give him that. But if he was a great play caller, someone in the NFL would have grabbed him.

... He's not the play caller or OC at Michigan ...
