We’ll see. Bud Foster’s defenses were always among the best until they weren’t anymore. Maybe this year was an aberration.

Blake Baker had a pretty good run of successful defenses before this season too.

Check Bud’s defensive numbers over his last few years coaching. They went from consistently great to very mediocre overnight. You could say he didn’t have the talent but Virginia Tech rarely had top rated talent in the past.

We’ll see what? Lmao you just said you didn’t know if he could stop modern offenses 2019 his defense was ranked 11, 2018 ranked 2, 2017 ranked 3, 2016 ranked 1... One bad year and now he can’t stop modern offenses? Lol don’t let CIS posters fool you

Michigan fans weren’t sad to see him go. Maybe they’re wrong. But why did his defense get so bad so fast? Did he not have good enough players? The guys he’s going to be coaching at Arizona are much worse than the guys he had at Michigan.

Too be fair, as Va techs talent fell off a bit so did bud fosters Defense. Same with Don brown at Mich. I agree with the bottom tho that sentiment won’t fly here lol

He had less talent at BC at had a #1 defense lol
 
Donnie will have his hands full. I watched Michigan struggle badly with better talent.
