I could be wrong but I feel like Josh Pate did originally pick Florida. And then closer to Sametime he switched to Miami?

Yup. Guy was hyping up Miami all summer just to pick UF

My thoughts exactly. Are we that good or the gator that bad? We do not really get challenged again until @ Louisville so we may have to wait a while to find out.

We are really good! The best part about yesterday outside of Harris taking a horrible angle on the 71 yard run was just how well the secondary played. I knew our front 7 would be insane. And I knew our offense would be great. Also we didn’t get penalties for stupid crap that ruins drives. The game could have been worse had Brown caught that TD pass and if we didn’t miss a field goal.

Unless he said something different after his pod that covered that game, he picked Miami. Said it would be close. I didn’t hate his take on saying first game with a new QB, first game with this OC & players, etc. could take some time getting into a rhythm.

I was cautiously optimistic until about 4pm. That opening drive told me what I needed to know. On paper, yesterday went how it should have.

Yes I was talking to my dad who’s a old school Cane, he texted me during the game when the score was 17-10, when we went right down to score and made it 24-10, my dad said these exact words “that’s the old Miami right there”
