Wasn't Golden supposed to do an in home today?
@PeterAriz: Miami is expected to in-home with JC Jackson tomorrow.
Maybe he can close JC's empty couch.

consider my jimmies unrustled. if the coach that has been recruiting you for the entire year and that you committed to invited you to the game as his guest you would probably out of respect say yes.

Came right in and took Powell and now, it appears Jackson, just over the last month.
Anyone who says this staff can close is still living in the days when Golden pulled Tracy Howard.
LOL. Isn't Jackson committed to UF.ag, and has been since, what, June of last year??? And now they "came right in and took" him???
"living in the days when Golden pulled Tracy Howard" ---- yeah, that was sooo long ago.

I can't wait for another one of your diatribe's on how not landing Jackson isn't the staff's fault.
Let me guess. Kid just doesn't want to be at Miami? Nothing Al can do, right?
You'll probably also try to rationalize this loss as not significant, because historically, UF and FSU have always out-recruited Miami, right?

They really have. On paper and in the minds of the recruiting gurus. We just ended up getting better kids who worked harder and had more heart. Don't tell me I'm wrong, because I know the history. Even the 2001 team, with all the blue chip talent, had kids who became elite once they were at UM, not on the recruiting lists. Like Ed Reed. Like Clinton Portis, Jeremy Shockey, Bryant McKinnie...who incidentally was a nobody coming out of HS and just one of those Juco "band-aids."
Muschump destroys Golden in recruiting under the cloud. Muschump still destroys Golden with no cloud, a UF program at it's rock bottom, and a lame duck coach who will be gone by midseason.
This ain't good.
How exactly did muschump destroy golden in crootin'? muschump finishes one spot ahead in the top ten (out of over 150 schools) of a mythical rating system and closes with a player they have had committed for over a year who has been wearing gayta stuff for days? really, are all of you (including your likes) merengues?
**** dude, when we say a coach delivered a player to another school its an excuse that our coaches can't close and then when we get a great player its cause his coach sent him here. You can't have it both ways. SOB......So they win 4 games and are getting a ton of talent.
If not for Saint Donnell Bennett delivering on Stacy Coley, last year would have been just as disastrous as this Signing Day is shaping up to be.
Jackson's parent wants him at UM, he's been to a handful of games, officially visited, can step in and play immediately, and we're losing him to a team that lost to Georgia ****ing Southern.
From one of CIS' staff writers following last year's Signing Day:
http://www.canesinsight.com/threads/48330-My-Final-Thoughts
---Little note on Coley: His recruitment comes down to one thing, Donnell Bennett. It's not only the fact that Bennett wanted him at Miami, but it's the way everything went down. Going back to his junior year when Stacy was becoming a big name, Miami was not showing much interest. The 'Canes did not offer until this November and Bennett is a big part of why the 'Canes offered. Miami was concerned with grades and other off-field issues, but Bennett worked with Coley and helped him mature throughout the process, which Bennett has told me multiple times when I've spoken to him. If not for Bennett pushing Coley, we would have seen him wearing the Garnett & Gold for the next 3-4 years.
SOB.......
So just because he went on a visit to UF means he's gonna sign with them? He also went to UM several times too. Im just trying to understand some of you guys logic.
