I stand to stay corrected and forgot how bad it was to start with Golden at CB with McGee, Finnie, Chambers, etc at CB....subconsciously pushed that out. The CB depth still sucks and we need JC or someone else now.
On another note, comparing Corn to Tbuck is insane other than height and weight measurables. Corn has potential at CB but his cover skills shown as of now are light years away from Tbuck. Corn primarily played nickel while Tbuck shadowed #1 WRs and shut them down most of the time. Tbuck had 21 INTs in 3 yrs in college, Corn has 2!!!
Let's all hope Corn plays ala Tbuck his senior year but to compare him now is foolish.
You gave no stats. You gave your opinion with tostones over your eyes again as usual.
Artie Burns had 5 INTs last season in the same defense. Corn has 2 In 3 years. Tbuck was a 1st round pick in year 3. Corn was told he wasn't going in the 1st 2 rounds in his yr 3 or he would've bolted himself.
Tbuck had 4 Tds as a returner and corn has 2.
Tbuck won the Thorpe award as the best CB in CFB in yr 3. Most CFB fans have never heard of Corn outside of Miami or Duke.
Tbuck is the all time leader at FSU in INTs
Seriously, please realize how foolish you sound. These are facts.

Dummy, You never knew or mentioned T-Buck until I brought him up to discredit your dumb ***.
As usual you are proving my point that if Corn was groomed in the same favorable system as T-Buck which fits his skill set he would have put up the same stats because he has the tools to do so.
Are you denying the fact that Corn played in a bad defensive system which did not use his talents correctly?
And, to mention what Burns did is totally different. That's like comparing apples to oranges so stay on topic. Besides, Bruns only played boundary.

Burns had 6 picks but continue.
how many years left to play does JC have?

Also corn was targeted way more then burns was so he had plenty of opportunities.

So was T-Buck his entire college and pro career. It comes with being 5'10 which was yawls biggest criticisms against him until I blew that sh** up.
This is why I used T-Buck as a good comparison for Corn because he got beat a lot but his big plays out weight his bad. And you guys don't seem to know how to measure that. But as you learn more about football you will understand that these are play makers and game changers. There is a saying you live by the sword and you die by the sword. Well with these types of players you except the fact that they are going to get bet sometimes but over the course of the game they will make plays that allow you to win the game.
Another just saying post.
Corn got robbed of two more returns. One was a bs holding call. The other was right before the weather delay in the opener. Refs decided to take it back because Herb(man who did not touch ball, waved it off).
Really should have had 4 returns for TDs. He's dynamic back there.
I would hold off on the whole Buckley and Corn comparison right now.
I do think Corn is primed for a big year under a real defensive staff but he does not have the body of work like T-Buck yet.
Also blackvern , I've been saying since I saw Redwine at Killian even when he was on JV. Redwine upside is higher at safety. Killian was close to to putting him at safety his senior year next to Jaquan.
