2028 Jaxon Flowers ATH/Safety/QB from Jacksonville, FL (Bolles HS)

One of the highest INT rates in the country @ 1.2/g. Tied for twentieth with twenty-five other players with 6 interceptions on the year so far.

I can dig getting more baseball players on the team. They have really great balance and mechanics, usually square up well.

2/2 on passing with 35 yards + 1 TD this season. 24 solo tackles, 7 assisted. 2 PDs. 60 total INT yards, 1 pick 6.

Change: Newcomer

Intel: Jaxon Flowers' rise has been pretty remarkable.

After playing mostly quarterback as an underclassman, the offseason camp circuit saw college coaches begin to project him as a defensive back.

After working out for several programs as a safety over the summer, he began to pick up offers. Florida, Florida State and Miami were the first three with scholarships from Alabama and Georgia coming his way this fall.

Florida and Miami are the two schools who are trending early, but I am keeping an eye on the Crimson Tide as his family is from Alabama.

Jaxon Flowers, safety: A fascinating development has taken place with the former quarterback out of Jacksonville (Fla.) Bolles.

Over the past few months, Flowers has grown increasingly comfortable in his first season playing defensive back as a 6-foot-2 1/2, 180-pound ballhawk who immediately catches your eye on the hoof. Flowers owns tackle-like arm length and hand size, along with an athletic profile that features eye-popping combine markers, including a near-10-foot broad jump.

The scaling of his film has generated 35 tackles (one for loss), six interceptions, two pass breakups and one blocked punt in six games this season, according to MaxPreps.

It's easy to see why Flowers has risen from three-star status to a spot in the updated Top247. — Randall
