He will take an official to Kentucky as well as FSU. He has visited FSU 7 times in the past 18 months. Both of those are inferior programs to Alabama.

So I was moreso looking if anyone had seen a real answer from him or a journalist

He claimed at the time, his decision felt rushed. Then they added 6 OL transfers through the portal, many with several years of eligibility.
Bama and Auburns new recruiting strategy makes you understand why they aren't doing well in the state, but also makes Auburn's MJC's offer even more confusing. They are obviously betting everything on him while getting none of those top QB's they were thought to have lead for. Maybe that's why they paid him so much.

Yeah i think the combination of not getting a qb and needing a headliner for their class led to the opportunity to throw 7 figures for MJC.

& appreciate it. There will be disgruntled quarterbacks out there for them in the portal; the quality of that qb will depend upon their season.

Reminds of Orlando Pace at Sandusky High. He was an absolute freak in terms of his footwork and agility at 300+ lbs.

My parents live in Opelika, my friend is actually the head girls basketball coach at Central. She told me about Coleman and our Upshaw 3 or 4 years ago, that they were both studs. Her daughter is a legit future SEC player, she’s been recruited by Auburn and LSU since middle school and her nephew, her brother’s son is one of the top 5 players in his class in GA, he was no. 1. I’ll try to check him out the next time I fly down there in the fall.

Yep her daughter is legit and so is her nephew. Her daughter trains with the same guy that my son played travel ball for. Would be great if you could make it down for the Auburn vs Central game.
