Jason Taylor on "Behind the U" Podcast with Josh Darrow

My biggest takeaways are 1) I don't see him ever leaving South Florida unless he really wants to be a head coach which I don't think he does. (Similar to Hartline at OSU). 2) Didn't realize he was going to take the head job at American Heritage before Mario pulled a Mario. 3) Easy to see why kids and parents relate to him. He's a straight shooter and values relationships.

i don't know if it is official or not, but Joe Sa'alvea has been relegated to an assistant. during the entire game yesterday, Taylor was in charge not only of the DL but talking to the defense on their way out. i couldn't tell if Guidry was on the sideline or not. i didn't see him, but Taylor was, to repeat myself, the one directing the defense

Guidry was on the sideline.

As long as we end up making him the highest paid DL coach we could hang on to him for a bit.

Unless the ‘Phins take him.
 
Many years ago when I in law school at UM, I was hating life and decided to apply for an on-air radio sports job ( I think it was WQAM) and take my career in a different direction. I had done some radio work in college so I sent in samples to the two big sports radio stations. Josh Darrow called me up and said he liked the tapes and wanted to schedule an interview for a certain date. Date comes around and he says he has to postpone. No big deal. Sets a new date. Date comes around again and he doesn’t call, I leave a bunch of messages and he finally says the station owner was doing some restructuring and the interview would have to wait until things settled down. That f#cker never called me back. So Josh Darrow can to ****- he ruined my dreams of being the voice of the Miami Hurricanes.

i dont think he's going anywhere. i think as i said before he's the DC in waiting. he has said that he doesn't want to leave south florida. i'd love to see guidry stat one more year (2025) and then Taylor can take over for him if warranted

Dolphins, Tampa, Jacksonville all in state.

I'd pay him whatever he wants...but the league is going to want him every year.

I don't see Guidry staying, especially with how LSU is faring this season.
