I think some of it has to do what he saw on film speeding him up. Some of it has to do with Miami, we absolutely impacted him. And some of it had to do with him being exactly who we told them he was for the last 9 months. A very erratic downfield passer. If Tommy Castellanos is throwing the ball 45 times against you, that’s a massive win for you.

These are the exact plays you run the risk of losing and failing to execute when you put all of your stock in a RB playing QB. They bail you out when there is truly nothing there but they miss plays just like this at a much higher clip than someone like Beck.

Defensive coordinators use that to their advantage and vacate zones/leave guys or areas of the field open and artificially dictate the QBs eyes and movements based on tendencies to how they react to certain pressures, etc. Its the only way to win the numbers game against the QB run.

hindsight is 20/20 ... not into this woulda, coulda, shoulda **** after the fact ... both teams left plays on the field, it's called execution or lack there of
