Jason Staples coping for last 72 hours

He has been insufferable, which is hilarious as a Miami fan, but Tommy was pretty bad in the game even in the times Miami didn’t force him to be.

I think some of it has to do what he saw on film speeding him up. Some of it has to do with Miami, we absolutely impacted him. And some of it had to do with him being exactly who we told them he was for the last 9 months. A very erratic downfield passer. If Tommy Castellanos is throwing the ball 45 times against you, that’s a massive win for you.

After the opening drive, I started skipping around and on all plays I saw he says "no pressure here".
Blown up reverse (around 3 min marl)? No problem!
TC running for his life because the pocket collapsed? This is fine, there's no issue here.

Either he doesnt know what a pressure is, or he's the fsu equivalent of the dog in the burning house

Agreed. He wants to pin it all on Tommy though. As if our nasty pass rush didn't speed up his intern clock.

This. He IS NOT A GOOD PASSER. FSU knows this, Miami knows this. Everyone knows this. You’re trading a consistent passing ability for elite scrambling ability. If Castellanos had to throw the ball 45 times, that means Miami’s defense did their job perfectly. FSU fans trying to cope by saying “if Tommy hadn’t made bad throws, we would have won”. Yeah of course. But he’s not a good passer and will always make bad throws if you force him to throw.

For sure. It’s really hilarious. So your football players played football exactly how they always play football, which is worse than how Miami’s players play football, and you’re making excuses for how/why you lost?

It’s so awesome to see them twist themselves into pretzels. I’ve been consuming so much nole content all week, I honestly can’t get enough of their tears. It’s ******* poetry in my ears. At least most of these dudes are just flat out saying that they suck and Miami is good and they had no business being on the same field as us. The weirdos like Staples who just make excuses are pathetic.

Here is the bottom line: Miami has better football players. Period. That’s all that matters. They have way more good football players. So guess what happens on the field?

Sleepy noon game with fsu licking their wounds…..

Pitt does stink, but that young QB looked good last week, and this spot isn’t great for fsu. Gonna be a 3/4 full stadium with no juice, and if they’re feeling sorry for themselves in the least bit, look out. People might scoff at this, but these mid-ACC teams absolutely still get juiced up to play the bluebloods. The Nard-dog is gonna have those boys flying around.

Narduzzi is licking his chops and Pitt has some explosive ability. They can take advantage of FSUs poor LB and S play and their defense will definitely trip FSU up some. I’m looking forward to it because you are 1000% correct about there being ZERO juice in that stadium for a noon kick. If Pitt gets on top of them early then watch tf out.
