I know Garrett’s wife as her sister is married to my cousin and lives in Miami. Strong Miami ties with Garrett - some family is there, played/coached in Miami, etc

True but even though I hate to admit it, Mullen is a good coach and no one had Dak playing at a higher level then Mullen. Plus obviously as a cane fan I’d love to see the gaytor lose there coach because you know those fools up there are incapable of making two good hires in row. Lol the funny thing is last time they just lucked into Mullen as he was there 3rd choice. Lol

How many college HCs make it big in NFL? JJ is one. Pete Carrol has but he is actually former NLF HC who came back via college ranks. Barry got JJ's third title but nothing on his own. I guess there are others.

Although im all for florida losing there coach! Cuz right now they run da state in recruiting..or they should since fsu n us are both 6-7! But i could get use to it in that sense that ur stating! I just want our boys back on top if its mullen then so be it...

Maybe time will show him better than last in division. Heck didn't JJ just win like one game his first year at Dallas? I'll give Kliff one thing, I can't think of another college HC who used getting fired as springboard to NLF HC. That is impressive.

Mullen is smart enough to avoid falling into that trap. Why the F would anyone leave a great position with millions of dollars, a solid future and put themselves at the mercy of an egotistical maniac like Jones? You’ll be miserable from day one. As far as the “glamour” or prestige of being an NFL coach - that **** has been eroding for years. Being a successful college coach seems to be more prestigious nowadays and you have much more control over your decision-making. Jones would be telling you when you can ****.
