I'd get scared off if a school was getting Spafford and Tristen Keys, too.

My read (and this is my personal opinion) is that his camp was upset about Spafford and feels he has a better opportunity to play both sports at FSU. It’s a bummer because I think he’s a great player.

So his camp is full beta’s. Wouldn’t fit what Mario wants which is competition.

Better opportunity to play cause FSu sucks which means he is scared to compete. Soft *** choice so he fits with prison Mike and his goofball program

This is a **** of a surprise. Recruiting hahaha

@1murhurricane and @DMoney … Is there something going on locally with kids maybe a bit upset not getting NIL contracts some OOSers may be getting?

I understand James Johnson isn't a pure local… But Lopez was considered a long-time lock, likely Russell, lost Flowers, Mills seemed to hit a stalemate very early in his recruitment. Any opinion.

Any chance we can put a late full-court press on Corey Sadler?

It does seem like playing basketball is a top priority for him..... I don't understand picking FSU for basketball bc listening to some FSPooo podcasts there is always mention of the baseball team being a higher priority than basketball and possibly even becoming less of a priority. He should have picked NC State.

This is the team I am the least upset about taking him. Their coach is on borrowed time, their roster is in shambles. He obviously got what he was looking for in negotiations. I did not see Jai Lucas giving him a serious shot as an up and coming coach, that may have played a part. But again, FSU? Congrats on your higher education decision kid.
