I don’t know why I laughed so hard at this. You guys are creative and have great timing with these pics.
Makes no sense for him to transfer out now when he has a chance to be the starter next year. I bet Richt told him he would give him at least a week before game 1 notice if he will be the guy. He then at least gets his chance to be the guy and if he isn’t at that point then he can leave. Would have to sit out at another school whether it is now or in the fall if he leaves then.

Williams knows he can win the job....now just make it clear that it's his moving forward.....hopefully he will get some serious time in the bowl game so we can have some hope going into 2019

He should’ve been playing all of those four games. Once the season was lost, Richt should have had an open competition with Williams getting some burn.
Now we have no idea how he will play going into next year. I’ve never seen such incompetence in handling the qb situation especially including the fiasco with recruiting one qb this year.

I still don't understand why Richt didn't get him on the field the last couple games. If the guy has strong potential to be the starter next year, you find a way to get him real reps this year. As it stands now he could be taking his first live reps ever against the Gators. We'll lose and have to hear Richt talk about how Williams was playing in his first game, blah blah blah. ******* stupid.

Wiltfong said that Jarren did not practice today. He, CMR and Jon had a sit down meeting and a plan and path for him to compete and get playing time in 2019 was laid out. Blake James also met with Jarren separately.
So let's see what happens now that it is out in public. Sad it had to get to this to actually sit down and have that plan...

No because he created the situation. Why not play the kid with the new redshirt rule. We were losing anyway let him get experience. I would have switched who started if the previous starter lost.

Im not a fan of Blake but props to him for sitting down with the kid. If the AD at the school you're at is begging you to stay, that should tell you everything you need to know about your value to the program
