Jarren Williams Transfering

I do not share that opinion with regard to Lingard. That said, your point is well taken. What I find most incredible is that our schedule was so soft this season that these guys should have been getting reps in the bulk of our ACC Coastal games. The Duke game jumps off the page as a team that we should have beaten by 40+. ****, the networks were counting on it when they handed us a night game at home for that one.

I seem to recall Shaq's dad in one of his last posts here said something along the lines of "there is frustration in the locker room...all I'll say is that the general sentiment is the best players should play, period."

what's probably most sickening for me is that over the last 8-10 years, the vast majority of people here CLEARLY see things before our coaches have. Whether it's schematic related, recruiting related, or what players should/shouldnt be on the field. Time and again we are proven right because eventually something changes to justify our outcries.

If Perry is our savior at QB we ain’t gonna be saved.

Instead of going on Joe Rose and all the other shows trying to explain why his recruiting class sucked he needs to be spending all his time pleading with Williams to stay and praying to whatever supreme being he believes in that he does.

Perry SUCKS and Weldon would rather get high than learn Richts 5 play system and since Mork and his little buddy Jon Jon figured we were so stacked at the QB position we need to recruit one we are screwedif Williams bolts.

I think he was clearly behind all of the guys who played ahead of him prior to his injury this year.

And how many practices did you attend?

Because he didn’t get a chance to prove he could play on Saturdays, so you’re obviously not going off of game tape, so I just assume you’re at all the practices.

Very astute observation.

Interestingly, Ive always felt that this website had a better connection to the inner-workings of the football program (and Athletic department as a whole) than most schools' fan sites. Its of no surprise to me that we see things here that a Blake James cannot. Think about it. Blake James is limited to what he sees around the AD and around campus, whereas we here can see whats happening at high schools all over the area, at other programs around the country. We have ex-players, local HS coaches and parents/relatives of players and recruits that have posted here. In short we see things way more clearly than the AD can I
MO.

None. My opinion is based on seeing him in limited action during games this year. I felt (feel) that he has much to learn about being a running back before unseating any of the existing starters from this past season.

Note that Lingard was listed ahead of Cam Davis on the depth chart prior to his injury but I would put Cam Davis ahead of him based on my limited access.

Ok. I’m done talking you. LMFAO

He needs to stay for his own sake. Just a guess, but I think Richt will feel more heat to actually play the best player this time out, so unless Malik is able to garner a 6th year, then I actually believe, for Darwinian reasons, that Right will be open to whomever ACTUALLY gives him the best chance to win. Maybe...

I’ve seen multiple posts about Malik getting a sixth season. I always thought people were joking. Is this a real thing that they’re going for?

I wasn't thinking about Gray. He was listed at fullback until after Lingard was injured, no???
You said he was rightfully behind the guys prior to his injury. I think He might have eclipsed gray a few games before his injury but for much of the early part of the season gray was ahead of lingard and Davis which was always stupid as **** imo

I’ve attended quite a few practices this year, and Homer, Lingard, Davis, Dallas would be the order in which I put them. Lingard & Davis KILLED the defense every time I was at practice.

I don't share that opinion. I think the coaching staff was trying to incentivize Gray a bit. Dude was a 5th year senior who asked for a one on one meeting with the offensive coaches and asked (perhaps begged) for a path to seeing the field this season. I didn't have a problem with their handling of T. Gray this season.

Correct me if Im wrong but Lingard did NOT play spring ball. He enrolled over the summer, yes? This likely had an effect on his early season PT.

But again, the crux of my point/opinion is that Lingard had/has some things to learn before taking reps from anyone just because he had more top end speed.

Freshmen won't complain as much if they feel the guy in front of them is better than they are. Nesta respects the **** out of GW.

When your 7-5 and the upperclassman in front of you continues to ***** up then your going to hear complaining.

Agreed. Hard for the freshman on D to complain about lack of playing time. The offense sucked this year, so the lack of playing time should be frustrating to the freshman.

Having said that, like anything in life, attitude is very important. Pouting, acting like pussies, divas, etc., typically will not help.

Naw lingard played spring ball and enrolled early. He was progressing nicely before the injury but he will be more than fine. He seems like a hard worker and we are in good hands with him, Davis and now asa martin for the future
